I believe in the powerful process of coaching. Coaching at its best is simple and reflective, at its most dramatic it is life changing. You have landed in just the right place to start something new. Something that only you know is true.
I have struggled with where my place is in life, how to wear the many hats of my responsibilities to my family, friends, and colleagues. About 10 years ago, I started down a path connecting with women who were in a similar place. What I found was, given the space to explore, to dream, to say “YES,” these women grew and challenged themselves to step into new areas. I too challenged myself and stepped into leadership roles that pushed my skills in organization and group dynamics.

In 2021, I completed my Certificate in Professional Coaching at New York University. I have worked with dozens of clients in uncovering their dreams and creating steps to change. My resources are mindfulness, compassion, deep listening, reflective practice and encouraging challenges.

One of life’s transitions that doesn’t get much attention is the transition from “Mother of Young Children” to "Mother of Adult Children.” I believe this is because the focus of mother of young children is on the children. How to nurture them so they are well adjusted, how to feed them so they are healthy, how to love them so they are great citizens of the world. In contrast, the focus of the mother of the adult children is the mother. Who are you in relation to your children, what goals and dreams were set aside to be a mom, how has the identity of mother meshed with your identity of self?
In looking at these questions, we are able to uncover the seeds of excitement that is you. You've done a great job, the best you could with young children, now it's time to focus on you.
